An 'impressive' hotel in the North East has been named among the 34 best hotels in the UK and Ireland.

If you're looking for a reason to get away, then look no further - given that the venue has now been included in a list of one of the best around. 

According to Glamour Magazine, County Hotel in Newcastle is worthy of a spot on the list - given its luxurious feel and the fact that it's near the bus and train station, so don't have to drive to get to the venue.

Glamour magazine said: "The best hotels in the UK and Ireland should not be underestimated compared to their overseas competitors. Take our word for it.
